In less than two weeks, professionals will gather at the steps of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas to learn about surfaces, stone and flooring. The StonExpo, in addition to Surfaces, is anticipating 6,000 attendees and 200 exhibitors from the stone industry worldwide during Jan. 29-31, 2013.
In addition to exhibitors, attendees can take advantage of educational courses ranging from social media and business to stone repair. Because StonExpo is held in conjunction with the Surfaces show, attendees get the opportunity to attend courses from both shows. Visit the educational schedule to pick the courses you might be interested in attending. StonExpo also provides a list of speakers and their biographies for more information.
If you have a smartphone, download the show app to search exhibitors and seminars from the show floor. According to the show website, app users will be connected to the show’s social media discussions and more. Download the app before you hit the show floor – available for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry phones.
As in previous years, all seminars will be recorded and available to buy after the show. This feature is great for those who had conflicting seminar schedules or to share a seminar with colleagues back at the office. Registered attendees get a discounted rate to for audio files.
Attendees can have the option between two registration fees: exhibits only or exhibits and seminars. Marble Institute of America members receive a discounted rate for both options. View registration fees and show hours on the StonExpo website.
